i had wanted to post about something today. its just unfortunate that i forgot what it was.

HAHA!

i'm so sad! i'm failing almost everything now.. today's physics is a sure fail. then right after that we took back chinese. wl. 50+ only. nvm, sophia owes me lunch. WAHAHA! then recently, chem pract, I FAILED!! geog also everything fail lah! project, test, ACE! WL! ace counted also!! fail lah fail lah. maths also all failing, or at least, done VERY badly. bio also not doing very good. URGH. nvm. i guess i'm just not trying hard enough this year, and not wanting it enough.

SOMEONE GET ME MOTIVATED TO STUDY PROPERLY!

anyway, to compliment on joanne's blog, since she loves me oh so much and blogs so much about me, haha, i shall blog too!

OMG! hahaha. today i picked up a yellow piece of paper on the floor next to me. it was a letter signed off by "noel" talking about yesterday's geog presentation and level camp (contents confidential. LOL). it was quite obvious it wasnt him lah. first, his handwriting where got so nice wan lor! hahaha. and second, he doesnt use shiny pink pen. haha. and third, I KNOW HOW HIS SIGNATURE LOOKS LIKE!! lol! and fourth, cos i wrote a jeffrey letter for joanne too. LOL.

yesterday during recess while joanne was out at the canteen singing with kiayi, i was in class forging jeffrey's handwriting! lol. i gave her his REAL number leh! see, i so nice right. haha. and it was quite difficult to copy his name.. lol. but joanne said it looked like! haha. and now she's got another piece of love letter to keep in her handbook. lol.

but anyhow, the noel letter was super funny. hahaha.

HELLO MRS HONG!!

hahaha.. must put that, in case she comes and read my blog. lol.

omg.. today super angry with THERAPIST lah. shout at me for what! if you want to score then you do your part lah, dont expect us to do everything for you and you just get the marks ok. fine, i'm not good at venting anger. hahaha. so i shall leave it here. see, i'm so nice. haha.

omg, and joanne really blogged ALOT about me and MRnoel yap leh!! got like 6 paragraphs can! haha. later he come and see then i die ar! but nvm, not as bad as how much she post about MRJeffrey Ng. haha.

anyway, omg! A MIRACLE HAPPENED!! my fat brother finally knows and realises he's FAT!! and he is finally bothered about it! hahaha! no wonder these few days he kept refusing to eat rice for dinner. at first i thought what happened, but just maybe he ate alot before dinner, thats why too full to eat. then just now also, refused to eat rice, then just ate one piece of chicken wing and eggs with 2 pieces of bread.

until my maid told me what happened. she said he was looking in the mirror a few days ago, telling her he was fat. then to make him feel good, she said no he was not. THEN, he flipped up his shirt and revealed all the disgusting layers of fats!! then my maid couldnt help but just laugh!! hahaha. and he's been spending alot of time on the weighing scale too.. lol.

wonder what woke him up. must be because of all my scolding. wahahaha :)

today, i wasted alot of money donating to the sec 2 I and E bazaar. thinking back on last year's bazaar, i remembered how disappointed i was when no one wanted to buy your stuff, so i decided to be such a nice and kind dhs sec 3 senior and patronised their stalls. (:

tomorrow, there'll be a chem test that we cant cheat for!! we dont get to see the question paper in advance to analyse for answers!!

nvm.. cos after that, there'll be a field trip! with noel yap!
so sad! he got suntanned until he's white no more!! all because of sports day!

A Fishing Trip with My Dad
One weekend, my father suggested that we go fishing. So we packed up the fishing rods and apples and in no time we were ready to run. At the lake, we put everything into our smelly canoe, though I almost forgot my excited worm, which would have been a problem. We paddled out onto the lake and waited noisily, then something pulled on my rod. My father said, "I have a regretful feeling that this is going to be a big one!" I jumped very hard and reeled in a big one alright: a big old keyboard that must have weighed two pounds. This was the best thing we caught all day!

omg.. i'm like damn sian now. i'm reading through all my old posts. can believe i used to type lyk dis.. haha.

anyway.. its so weird to read back and see what you write. cos now, either you laugh at it cos you find it funny that you forgot what you actually wrote, or that you've changed your opinion on things.

just like when i blogged on how i d being short and all that bad and unlucky stuff that happened to me that particular depressing day when ms tan broke the news to us that we cant grow tall anymore. lol. can't believe i actually hit a man's SHOULDER when carrying an umbrella. hai.. but anyway, NEVERMIND! cos now, i actually like being short!! hahaha.

i agree with mayping. dyb is like super anti lah. anti as in anti-climax.

on monday when we got our gold with honours, amelia said we would have dyb outing/dinner/whatever today wan lah. in the end, everything's left hanging loose, no one bothers to do anything, no one can decide on anything, and no one's even FREE! so.. there. another failed planned gathering. the previous failed one was tuan bai.

so.. while all the other yuezus are out, happily enjoying and celebrating, i was in my room the whole afternoon.. reading.

LOL.

YES, reading. hahaha. anyway, while reading, i was eating van houten chocolates i so nicely received before syf, and you know something? van houten POLISHES their chocolates!! lol! its so shiny, i can seriously and actually see the reflection of my face on those spherical sweet littly things! hahahaha!

you can see how bored i was.. lol.

WAH SIAN AR!!! i purposely left today free to go out with dyb, in the end it turned out like that! if not i'd have went out with 2G lo!

and after having practices till 8 everyday for the past weeks, I DONT MIND STILL HAVING IT!! this is the first ever friday we dont have practice. omg. i feel so lost. haha. its 7.30, we would still be having fenzu/dazu now.. we'd either be in the airconditioned co room or at the grandstand where strong winds would blow. instead, i'm stuck on the third floor of my empty house with spoiled fans and closed windows on a hot april evening.

BLEARGH!

hence i conclude that i shall go switch on the aircon and play my cello in my room.

shangyin is tormenting and traumatising.

let me tell you why.

ever since sec 1, whenever in shangyin, when Wang ls sees me, she'll force her eyes wide open and stare at me (she's imitating my big eyes. lol.) then she'll move in closer and either pinch my cheeks or use her finger to swipe down my nose!

last year, i even had a STARING COMPETITION with her!! she was looking at me, i was looking at her. unknowingly, it became a see-who-blinks-first competition. obviously, i emerged the victor. MUAHAHAHA!! she even said “好，厉害，你应咯." of course, wang ls! haha.

and ever since sec 1, she and tian ls have been saying in amazement that i look like an indian kid. FOR 3 YEARS!!! how can anyone harp and go on about the same topic for 3 years??! is it very interesting?? lol!

then last last week while having lesson, wang ls came into the room, as usual, to gossip with tian ls. lol. and as always, she would be talking to tian ls, while staring at ME! then after a while, she'll sidetrack and talk about ME instead! omg.. i'm so irresistable. lol!! anyway, she stared, she forced her eyes wide open, then her face came close to my face, so close it felt like she was gonna kiss me or what lah! haha, sorry wang ls, i save that kind of close proximity only for my bf. go find someone else. haha.

then today while i was having lesson again, she came into the room, her usual routine, and obviously came to gossip again, but this time about syf. hehe.. i've got all the inside info! anyway, as usual, she couldnt stand my strong charming presence and turned her attention to me again. this time, other than just staring at me, and started rubbing, pinching, playing and squeezing my face and chin!! lol! then she said “下次我要生一个很像她的孩子，真好看！" wah.. so flattering. lol.

ok, THATS good enough. then, the worst had to happen! she hugged my HEAD against her chest! i was quite disgusted then already lah. THEN! i suddenly felt something press onto my forehead, still got sound somemore. it was then i realised... OMG!! SHE KISSED ME!!!!!!!!! i stared at tian ls in shock lah!! haha!

omg.. i need to disinfect my hair and forehead man..

but other than all these and torment, its very fun to hear tian ls and wang ls gossip. hahaha. that time the week before syf, wang ls was still discussing with tian ls whether she should use a baton when conducting for RGS or not.. lol. oh, and she was asking tian ls for advice on buying a particualr new house also. then the next week, what do you know... she bought it! another was when wang ls just bought a new camera, so she came into the room happily to show it off! haha. we even took a picture can.. haha. she took me and tian ls and i took her and tian ls. LOL.

upon reaching school, we started rehearsals for today at 7.30am that we missed flag raising. for the first time, our yin was super zhun, jusong and winds sounded great. a good start for the good day.

practising till 8.25am, we stopped to rest and get into the mood, while being briefed about today's schedule. everything would be fast and chaotic, and we would only be on stage for a mere 15mins.

everyone started distributing sweets and goodies for encouragement. haha. omg.. joey's 'personalised' letter to everyone... lol. everyone read each other's already. haha.

8.40++, we packed and got ready to leave for SCH. thats when it reality started setting in. this was it. we were going off to show DHSCO off to Singapore.

the atmosphere on the bus was light.. peijean was beside me reading out all the little messages that XYZ seniors wrote to them. so sweet. haha. i was quite touched lah, by what they said.

upon reaching SCH, we started to feel the heat, the excitement, the anxiety. we tuned our cellos, and tl helped me jam the pegs into the hole, praying it would not come loose when on stage. or i tell you i cry ar! strings out of tune, its as if you didnt perform at all for syf lah. ok, you wouldnt have. lol. then we went into another tuning room to practise. we only had 15mins in there, and we could sense that the teachers were feeling the heat too, behaving really frantic and all. ttk kept repeating to wu lao shi: "不能再拖了！" then when our 15 mins was up, mdm ilyana rushed us out, saying what every minute costs us one mark.

going up to the lobby, scary. there was this small tv set mounted on a pillar, with sound systems and all. it was showing the inside of the concert hall. anglican high was performing. stress! but nvm, i'm not gonna comment. lol. then all the seniors came back to support us also, so touched!! haha.

1040am, seniors had to leave to go into he concert hall to watch us play.. we were on our own!! ahhh!!

few minutes later, close to 11am, the doors opened. it was time. we walked in confidently, although there was like a super big gap in between me and cally, so i almost had to run, but i didnt :). haha. walked up the stage, moved the chairs, put anchors and sat down to tiao yin. thank heavens, the strings were still in tune and didnt go off!!! whooo!! i love amelia's cello! haha.

conductor came on stage, we stood up, sat down, got ready. this is it, this is it, i kept telling myself. after all these practising, we're finally HERE, on stage, for SYF. its OUR turn to make the miracle.

the first note started. then onto the solo, whoa.. not bad, very zhun. haha. then.. ta-dum. our most important part. i was thinking then "oh please please please let it be all right!" cos if we flopped, goodbye goldwithhonours. then.. la fa la mi re do ti.. WHOOO!! not bad! good, that boosted my confidence quite alot. haha. after that, everything for jian kuai went well, except maybe some parts our yinzhun abit off lor. haha.

then the song ended. phew, i thought, one song down, one more to go.

conductor lifted his hand, as it slowly went down, i was praying that the basses come in together. first note.. yay!! not bad! or at least, better than most of the practises lah. haha. then when XYZ came in.. whoa.. goosebumps. super nice. hahaha. then our turn.. not much lah. just that because of XYZ, then i think everyone had lots of gan qing lor. haha. then when DJY came in.. WHOA. so loud! super nice. haha. it was then i decided, this was gonna be good. haha. but then.. hai.. our yinzhun, the mi super off. but nvm! i told myself. lol. cannot let this carry forward, must forget it and continue playing.

daniel's solo.. very nice. haha.

gu zheng solo.. it was ok lah, at least considering she was sec 2, SOLOING, as in super solo, it can be very scary. so.. turn out quite good. haha.

then until the climax.. djy super loud again.. very nice. haha. then ending note was also very loud, very nice. haha.

after just 10+mins, we were off stage already. thats it. after so much practise, it was only for that short moment, and we displayed it there and then.

on the bus back, we were quite confident of ourselves lah.. but also, abit unsure cos when we asked the seniors how it was, they were'nt like.. overly excited or happy, like when the first time our yin was SUPER zhun. haha. they just said like.. not bad, quite good.. but not crazy about it. haha. and khojj's jaws weren't dropping so low, like when it did when he heard our yin super zhun that time. haha.

so.. thats it. back in the CO room, mdm ilyana just talked for a while, i missed some of lol, cos went to change in toilet. we have leave from CO for 1 whole month! oh man.. what am i gonna do on fridays?!

so from 12-5pm, we waited. we slacked in co room, playing all the other instruments we could find in there, and waited.

at 5+ most of them went to play bball and vball. I COULDNT PLAY!! cos stupid me forgot to bring extra shirt! i brought my skirt and shoes to change into, but NOT MY SHIRT! nvm.. i like my 长袖白衣 anyway.

530, afraid the results would be out soon, we went back to the co room to wait. there, keewei and khojj were busy planning for their BIG TRICK to bluff us about the result. omg.. haha. anyway, we were all seated around keewei, who was seating on the conductor's seat. he kept bluffing us lah, what with all the fake calls.

then when the REAL call came.. silence.. keewei was talking over the phone and he looked like he was gonna cry lah. that made us like super scared. then soon, yann chyng and mdm ilyana got a call each also. mdm ilyana recited what was going on there concurrently..

THEN... they started announcing.

anglican high.. gold..

tension plunged high up in the co room.

then as we were anxiously awaiting mdm ilyana to annouce our sch's results.. SHE TURNED AROUND AND STOPPED TELLING US!!!! anti...

so we turned our attention to keewei..
keewei over the phone: " i dont care about other school's results, i only want to know ours."

all the disappointing things after that.. nvm. i dont want to say here. i just wanted this to go down on black and white, so i can be reminded of these fond memories again next time when i read back, to relive the times again.

oh, before anything happens, let me just confess something..

I LOVE DHSCO!!!

omg i'm going crazy. but seriously, i think after all these practises and staying back till 8 every single day from monday through sunday has really bonded everyone. it has made even un-enthu people super hardworking, and already enthu people feel even more passionate about music.

i suddenly feel so much feelings now. omg. better keep it in for now.. wait till 14 hours later then BLAST it all out on stage! wahahaha!! and i still have so much to say, but such a pity, i'm not really good with words and cant chain them together into nice posts like cindy. hai..

ok anyway, now i need to find a way to SLEEP!

AAAHHHHHH!! tomorrow's the BIG day! the day that everyone's been waiting and working so hard for these 2 years. lets all just put our heart body mind spirit and soul into the music and BLOW THE JUDGES AWAY!! this is the time for us to show off DHSCO from the moment they announce our name! the name we're so proud of, the name we're proud to be part of, the name we so love, the name of the legendary orchestra thats gonna create miracles and make wonders tomorrow:

and no matter what the outcome, the main point is knowing that we've done our best and put in 110% of our effort.
no matter what the outcome, lets be proud of ourselves, lets be proud of DHSCO, lets be proud to call ourselves DHSCO.
