its raining, its pouring, the little girl is blogging.

ooh! i rhyme!! lol.

anyway, after 10 days, i finally have time to blog again without worrying about anything anymore, except for EOYs, HE test, catching up with maths and malay, chinese peer teaching, science ecology project, DHSCO's GWH, my cello exam results and mayping's cello exam results.

anyway, since its TEACHERS' DAY soon, i shall say something about teachers!

: teachers teach. their job is to teach us so we can teach other people too so we know our facts better and so we can pass our knowledge to other people. teachers play a huge role in society as they teach people new stuff.

the world would be nothing without teachers, dont you agree?

how did our minister mentor Lee Kuan Yew, or even our senior minister Goh Chok Tong or current prime minister Lee Hsien Loong become so successful? they went to school and learnt everything he knew there. who taught him? teachers!

how do writers write so well with their profound english and good language that makes them rich with the books they write? they go to school and studied english. who taught them? teachers!

how did adam khoo become so rich and successful? ok, he got his wealth partly from his family, and he was doing badly in school. but he still learnt everything in school, and when he finally started studying hard and made it into the dean's list, who taught him? teachers!

ok, so you might think that you may never become any of those, cos you're just a normal citizen like me, nothing special, living your days as they go by, trying to make the best of what we have now.

but whats the one thing that you and me, the ministers, writers, adam khoo and all the other people in Singapore, or in fact most of the people in the world have, apart from 24hours a day?

education!
and who gives the education that you need?
teachers!

why did you think Singapore decided that education was so important towards building up our nation when she separated from malaysia 41 years ago then?

cos it just is if we want to prosper. thats why we need basic numeracy, literacy and vocational skills where we learn in school, where TEACHERS teach them.

like i said, the world would be nothing without teachers. how would people know how to do so many things that contributes to every little thing in life? they need basic knowledge and skills about the thing or subject first. where do they get them to progress and proceed? TEACHERS!

knowledge dont just fall down from the sky, teachers also learn all their stuff from somebody. who? teachers!
the teachers' teachers also learnt their facts from someone, the teachers' teachers' teachers!

so basically, the current state of the world is formed by us, and we learn how to do those stuff that makes a difference from teachers, and teachers learn their facts from teachers, and the teachers' teachers learn from the teachers' teachers' teachers, and the teachers' teachers' teacher's teachers learn from their teachers' teachers' teachers' teachers' teachers, and so on.

wow.

what would the world be without teachers?

so to conclude the importance of teachers, they teach us every little thing that helps us make a difference in life.

even though you may fail in something that your teacher have taught you, you still learn something from them. you learn to learn from your mistake when you do well again in the next test.

even though your teacher may be a lousy one, teaching you nothing, you still learn something from them. you learn that you should not be like him/her when you grow up, that you should be better and more specific, effective and efficient in passing down information and knowledge to someone else, or at least just not be like him/her, worst still if you do become a teacher too next time.

even though you do not like the teacher and refuse to learn anything from him/her, you still do, or at least you will soon. you'll soon learn that what you're doing is totally wrong and no good for your own being cos you'll be missing out on lots of things and lots of difference that you may be able to make in life if you'd listened. who knows, you might have become a totally different person if you did? but after all, this is also a learning experience, that you learn from your mistake.

so you see, you always learn something from teachers even if you dont want to or dont plan to or dont like to. cos... they are, after all, teachers. they teach.

so after seeing all the benefits that teachers provide us with, and seeing that its TEACHERS' DAY soon, why dont we all just, like mr sng said, let the teachers feel special on the day that belongs to them? they deserve it, after what they do for the world, the society, and for us.

and also, for after what we always do to them in return. yes, i'm talking about not handing up homework, doing a piece of work badly, or making their blood boil all the time.

dont pretend ok, and stop trying to look innocent.

i know what you did. HAHA.

actually, no.

anyway, HAPPY early TEACHERS' DAY! in case i dont get to blog tomorrow, although i know i will. HAHA.

laugh till i had to rush to the toilet too. in the toilet i still laughed so much till i fell onto the floor. was trying terribly to shut and lock the door. hahaha.

anyway, WE FINISHED OUR GEOG!! i love the 5th of june.

i DETEST bibliographies.
i love COLOURS!!

HAHA. i am sooo environmental friendly.

i took a pledge for World Environmental Day on its website to:

1. Eliminate 5 miles of car travel per week all year.
i dont even drive. LOL.

2. Turn off all lights in 2 unoccupied rooms all year.
when there ARE 2 unoccupied rooms, obviously i wont switch the lights on. but for now, i'll just turn off anything thats not in use.

3. Recycle at least 50% of all aluminium cans used.
i dont really use aluminium cans in the first place, dont really buy canned drinks. lol.

4. recycle at least 50% of all glass bottles used.
i dont use glass bottles at all, so they dont have to even manufacture my share of it. haha.

5. Recycle at least 10pounds of paper.
ok, that i'll start. school got recycling bin for these stuff wan right?

6. Reduce garbage by 0.5 pounds per day.
i'guess i'll reduce buying drinks from the last stall in the canteen and eat less bananas then.

7. Install a low flow showerhead.
not sure whats that, but i guess i'll also have to shower with a low flow of water next time.

8. Lower thermostat by 1 degree fahrenheit.
i dont have a thermostat, but my aircon is already at 26degress.. hehe.

9.wash clothes in cold water for a year.
i didnt even know they wash clothes with warm water...?

total i reduce CO2 by 2589 lbs leh.

today was GLS' last dazu with us.
super sad.

he's going to china to study music for like 2 years or so.
he's last dazu and we disappointed him by playing so badly... haiz.

said lots of things to us before leaving. like telling us must jia1 bei4 nu3 li4, and what lots of people say we are the 'legendary Dunman High', got reputation to live up to, hope we can stay 'legendary' forever.

all things said, but the problem is, i'm afraid we MAY disappoint him further IF we don't get GwH next year.

AAHHHH!!! MUST GET GOLD WITH HONOURS!! CANNOT SAY CANNOT!
PERFECT PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT, SO MUST KEEP PRACTISING PERFECTLY!!!

sad.

cannot see the and laugh at the difference of the size of 'yigeng's head' anymore.
cannot laugh at the funny noises that he makes anymore.
cannot laugh at his jokes that he makes anymore.

Hanyin will be devastated that her source of laughter in dazu is GONE.

yay! dont you just love east coast park?

its like such a nice place to go to. go cycling, watch the wakeboarders, admire sandcastles, enjoy the beach and feel the wind in your face.

ahh.. so nice.

went cycling there again today. it was fun, except that i had to WALK all the way back to the bicycle shop instead of cycling back enjoying myself, cos the stupid chain came off and i didnt know how to fix it back.

anyway, yesterday night me and my brother couldnt sleep and we were so bored, so we went to use our mom's laptop and did those funny and senseless blogthings quizzes. haha.

we were laughing at ourselves the whole time.

i had a higher chance of becoming a MULTImillionaire than my bro (like that could ever happen)
my power colour was lime green and my bro's was hot pink, like he predicted. lol. ok, not exactly hotpink, but magenta. it still looked like hotpink though, if that would make my bro happy.

i'm so bored now.

just finished practising my cello again.
bleargh, and i just received another chainmail.

anyway, actually i have nothing to blog about. but this JUNWEN (haha) and samuel apparently said that my blog was dead..? so i shall blog now. lalala.

i guess i really have to start getting used to sitting by myself all the way at the back during da zus and laughing at myself for making funny faces when i play wrongly then. but at least no one takes notice cos i'm all hidden. HAHA.

yaya, laugh at me.

and i better stop laughing by myself at the back already. or else people will start thinking i'm crazy, although i partly am.

wanna know what i laugh about?
cally better not read this or else she'll kill me. LOL.

anyway.. hmmm.. let me put it this way.
if cally sits at where i'm sitting, she'll be SUPER disappointed.

2 reasons lah.
1- cannot see ming quan
2- cannot see yi geng.

actually, can see yi geng...'s body.
but if you ask how he looks like to me...

a BUTT.

yes. ttk or gls's BUTT.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! you know why? cos the chair that they sit on just right is at his chin the height, so when they sit, you see their BUTT nicely placed right smack on his neck.

HAHHAHAHAHAHA.

oh.. no wonder, thats why i never knew who yigeng was before handover. cos i only always saw a butt. LOL.

from there i also realised that ttk is really really super DUPER small sized!!!

after gls left and ttk came in and sat on the conductor's seat, i then realised that ''yigeng's head'' suddenly became very very VERY small. LOL, it shrank!!

but he's really super small lah. his thigh also super skinny wan. i think worse than mine.

ok, nevermind. i shall stop talking about ttk.

sigh.. xingzhong's telling me about the sec 4s' good points in cello. i told him that junwen's playing is nice. and he agrees.

see junwen i so nice. haha. better hold on to your head, dont let it get too big though. haha.

oh.. i went home with junwen today, found out some things.

she lives in tampines opposite my primary school, where i walk past everyday.
she walks home the opposite direction i used to walk home everyday 2 years ago. haha.

on the 158 bus we kept laughing at some 2 women talking about their boyfriends and stuff. LOL.

ok.. now i have got nothing to talk about already. just that cally keeps talking to me about yigeng and xingzhong is saying that joey's voice very nice and his sucks.

haha. anyway. not talking anymore.

and cally's afraid that what i said up there about her beloved yigeng has got something to do with her.

HELLO!! i'm back after the longest week of tests.

that really seemed like the longest week ever, but this week was short, somehow. probably cos we only study for 2 days. haha.

today, i shall blog about SAI4 WENG1 SHI1 MA3!!

in case you all dont know, sai weng shi ma means "a loss may turn out to be a gain". to further explain this idiom, let me state an example.

sorry, couldnt help it.

anyway, today was IJ gathering. 13 of us, qianhui nicolechew cally prida serene elizabeth me GJY siyuan yixiang tsunleong zhengkai and his bro went for lunch and arcade and movie at marina square.

lunch was loud, arcade was fun, movie was sad and nice. anyway, thats not the point.

ok, after everything, we decided to go home. when at city hall mrt station, we took out our wallets, getting ready to tap lah. then cally started to panic cos she couldnt find her wallet. so she started scolding vulgarities. haha. ok, ONE vugarity. lol.

so, the remaining of us nice people, me qianhui elizabeth serene prida , insisted on helping her find her wallet. haha. see, we so hao xin. haha.

so we rushed back to marina square and retraced our footsteps. went to the food court, asked the family sitting at the table, nothing. asked the cleaner, nothing. asked the manager, nothing, but he asked us to go to the information counter.

so we went, and TADA!! her wallet was there! then the lady at the counter started to ask cally to name EVERYTHING in her wallet lor! omgosh. i think we better start remembering the contents in our wallet already, in case we ever lose it. *touchwood*. haha

anyway, after that, everything funny started to happen.

the lady passed cally a slip of paper, on it says "reagan 9XXXXXXX (his hp number) and cally's name and IC". the lady then insisted she call him. HAHA.

so cally called and thanked him. she said he sounded 10-20 plus years old. ooohh.. haha.

then she smsed him "thanks".

after that we all started to joke, saying that she should treat him to dinner one day to thank him. hahahha. and some other stuff like them being bfs and gfs. hahaha.

then, he replied. "haha... no problem... *smiles* ;)"

YES. its a wonder i still remember. LOL.

after that, they started smsing each other non stop, asking all about each other.

i know, we're spastic. hahaha.

and thats just SOME of it. hahaha.

anyway.. now do you see the sai weng shi ma in here? haha. cally loses her wallet, but gains a new friend/potential stead instead. she finds her wallet too lah anyway.

but now, after seeing his picture in friendster, her high hopes of him are all dashed! LOL.

so its actually sai weng shi ma for US nice people. we you3 hao3 xi4 kan4 and got all the laughter!! so funny!

i think that reagan like cally already. hahaha.

hahaha. i'm a wallet picker.

i look out for people's wallets, pick them up and return them to their rightful owner.

i'm so nice. hahaha.

i picked up cally's wallet 3 times and helped find si yuan's wallet once today leh! thats 4 wallets picked up lor.

ok.. only 2, but 4 times! hahaha.

but all the bad things that happened to cally today had some form of warning beforehand wan you know.

i picked up her wallet THRICE before and she stilll lost it afterwards. maybe thats cos i wasnt there to look after the wallet and pick it up for her. haha.

and back in the arcade, nicole purposely stepped onto cally's untied shoelaces to tell her that her shoelaces are out lah. and after that on the way back to the mrt station, her shoelace got caught on the escalator!

hahaha. talk about bad luck.
