july 16, sunday, 1.31am

i'm supposed to be like any other good kid around
-in bed.

why am i not then, you may ask?
-i can't.

dont worry, its not because i have any problems with sleeping or anything.

i'm in awe.

i just went around reading other people's blogs.

wow.

14 year olds do write very well.
14 year olds do think very deep.
14 year olds understand life more than you think.

never underestimate 14 year olds.

they can quote like you've never seen before, much less understand.
they can compose like you've never read or heard before, all the more you will appreciate.
they think deep, so deep it makes adults look like they've never moved their brains before.

no offense, adults who may come here, though i dont know why you are here.

but it really makes you see the world with a different view, a different perspective.
make you think twice about thinking.
and make you think why you've never thought like this before.

thats the power of teenagers who think.

and those are all from blogs.

my brother once had a debate with this topic:
blogging, whether its good or bad.

he was on the stand of the 'good' side.
i can't remember if the team won or not.

but to me, i think blogging is one of the best tools for writing and expressing what you feel and what you have to say, although you most definitely cannot abuse that right, or, you, simply go to jail.

and of course, for blogging to benefit your writing, you have to first use proper english and most importantly, proper spelling.

hello? thats common sense.

in blogs, you see posts, stories and quotes that are so contrasting from the writers themselves. why? thats their only escape. thats their only retreat from expectations.

they're facing a computer, not people, not their friends, not their family.

they say what they want, what they think, what they feel, however they want.

they dont come up to you one day to say all those things to you, do they? they cant.

thus, they have to pour them out somewhere, somehow, someday.

the answer: blogs/dairies.

dairies are when they mean for it to be personal.
blogs are when they want to share their thinkings with everyone.

of course those may not really be applicable to bloggers who just write about meaningless stuff.

but everybody has a different way of writing after all.

some write about everyday stuff.
some write about life on the whole.
some specifically picks out funny stuff to write about.
some write on philosophies.
some write about their everyday discoveries of life values and the people around them.
and some wasted ones just write truckloads of rubbish, unsightly and shameless crap.

that is the power(and for the last point, shameless-ness) of blogs and 14 year olds.

well dont look at me. i'm still only 13.

but anyhow, they left me in deep thoughts, in awe, in admiration.

2.05am.

something's wrong with my computer and its automatically restarting in 1:31 minutes.
