shocking.

announcement of new committee was simply shocking, and scandalous too at some parts.

so sad, handover's over already, again.

one year past so fast. i still remember the handover last year. i remember i didnt know much people, much less remember who took what role. but of course after some time i got to know more about them lah.

then history repeated itself. eugene was slowly placing the 2 rows of 14 chairs neatly on the LT floor. one row red, one row grey.

then he took up the whiteboard marker and wrote 'zhi2 wei3 announcement' on the whiteboard, after which he examined it thoroughly, looking up and down, down and up at the word 'announcement'. lol. amusing.

then, it was TIME.

all the previous (so i should call them now) zhi wei came in, each holding a black envelope sealed with a little sticker (lol) in their hands. what's in it, i shall not know, that is till next year of course, when we finally get to see our own level mates step up to their rightful seats.

thats still a year later, of course.

anyway, they all took their seats according to their roles and, just sat down. then jobina intro-ed and it started.

one by one all the zhiweis gave their speeches, saying how much they learned, each adding one '很多' as the number of people who presented went by. haha. at least better than last year's where they just copied what each other said. this year got coordination and planning of what and how they're going to say. haha.

amelia gave a very... uhh... creative speech. and turned out our new zu zhang was guan yang.

oh i dont know how i can ever get used to it. haha. but at least he sends the messages to mayping, not me. guess he didnt know what vincent and amelia did. hehehe. good luck mayping.

and anyway, it carried on. wei cheng was the new guan yue zu zhang. lol, seems like gy people already expected it. ok.. oh ya! when they announced his name, there was one SIGNIFICANT scream for him. guess who?? haha. lee yilin!! hinthint.

ok, and it carried on.

then when it came to eugene's turn, oh.. so touching, as in, serious. he was trying to hold back his tears, saying "dorea 说她不能哭，所以我也不能哭。" then when he was trying hard to talk, alot of people also felt like crying lor. including me hor, i not so heartless one.

but its nice lah, to see that we have such dedicated people in CO.

if only our batch could see and understand that, and be the same way too.

ok, lets carry on. when it was ruth the treasurer's turn, WOW. at this moment of time, guess what was she still doing? she was still going after people for money!!! lol!! she so funny.

then was xiao xue's turn to announce the new secretary, ying ying, but she was absent. so guess who went to collect the envelope on her behalf? before mdm ilyana even managed to finish her sentence on something about this being on a professional level, someone none other than guanyang ran forward from his seat to the other end to collect it for her.

scandal scandal.

!!!da da da dum!!!

jobina stood up, began speaking, and the fun and funny part began. to describe the new tuan zhang, one by one all the previous zhiweis took turns to stand up to act out saying what he/she looks like funnily. haha.

ruth said that he/she was definitely fatter than her, again. she said that for the treasurer also. haha. but actually i think the tuan zhang can be equally skinny you know. haha.

when they announced it i couldnt believe. really really could not believe it.

when everybody was cheering, i was like, boom, the world closing in on me, it was like i couldnt hear a thing at all, not the cheering, not the people talking, i just watched keewei walk down the steps in slow motion, proceed to the end seat, receive the envelope and sit down.

HAHA. not so drama wan lah.

but is WAS something like that. i just couldnt believe. no offense or discrimination against him, but, of all the people in CO i'm surprised they chose and approved of him.

good for him lah. lets give him our full support in leading CO to greater heights.

AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

keewei! i just hope he does a good job. really, really, good job. yay.

after all, SYF's just next year.

AND GUO LAO SHI'S LEAVING US!!!
how can he leave us at such a crucial time??!

i mean, our syf next year lehh!

just hope that zheng lao shi doesnt retire anytime soon.

AHHHH!!! i'm crossing my fingers that he wont and guo lao shi will still stay on and we can get gold with honours and the reputation of DHSCO will not 败在我们的手上!!!

we're in for a rough ride this 1 year, starting from yesterday.

ahh!!

they have a machine down on the field and dug deep deep holes into the ground yesterday!!

and i'm one house too far! my house got blocked up too! they've finished fencing up the part of the field right in front of my house, and only my next door neighbour's house didnt get blocked. they still get to see the path.

sigh. thats really it for the nice scenic view of the field and the mrt station now.

but one thing i'm really surprised at is that the usual man was back, still flying his aeroplane as per normal, like nothing was going on on the field! haha.

seems they're not letting the construction stop them from doing so.

at least, not for now.

all i will ever see now at least for the next 2 years from the garden, porch or even from the living or dining room, will just be the white metal boards that fence the field up away from us.

conservation vs urban planning.

thats one where urban planning completely won over it.

i guess the handover and the field are changes too. and like what's said there, in change there is power.

for handover, it may be true, iand it should be.

but for the field?! I DONT WANT THE CHANGE!! its still meaningful! so there's still security in it!
